Settings
Settings is where an organisation is configured — which features are on, how GPS data gets in, and how templates are labelled.
Who can use it: the page is reachable by coaches and admins, but the most important controls — feature toggles, GPS provider and credentials, and sport settings — are admin-only. Coaches see them read-only.
Features
Admins can turn whole product areas on or off for the organisation. Disabling one removes its navigation, its athlete-page tabs, and its concerns:
- Jump testing — jump imports, the leaderboard, athlete jump tabs, and jump-based concerns.
- Running testing — the field running/aerobic tests, the derived MAS/VIFT/MSS anchors, and the Testing → Running results page. See Running fitness tests and Conditioning.
- Gym — sessions, the exercise library, templates, plans, the athlete gym tab and the player gym logger.
- Wellness — the squad wellness dashboard and the daily player check-in.
- Injuries — the injuries & availability surface: logging, return-to-play, the squad body map and the wellness escalation.
- Game Demands — planning each session or training week as a percentage of the game (the Game Demands profile, planner and microcycle).
- AI Analyst — the plain-English squad assistant (a trial feature; it also needs a deployment-level switch). See AI Analyst.
If no preference has been saved, everything defaults to on, so a transient glitch never makes a feature vanish.
GPS provider (admin-only)
Each organisation uses one GPS provider at a time, chosen here. What you set up next depends on the provider:
- StatSports — enter the federation access key and secret key; the importer then pulls session data on your behalf. The form checks the key formats as you type.
- PlayerData — enter the PlayerData Connect client credentials (admin-only, stored securely); sessions pull automatically on a schedule.
- SPT — set the two public OneDrive folder links (matches and training) the automatic importer watches, or upload event CSVs manually.
- Catapult PlayerTek — CSV import (the upload UI is in progress).
Whichever provider you use, everything downstream — load reports, session history, fitness anchors — is identical.
Sport & game length (admin-only)
Sets the club's sport (football, hurling, camogie or ladies football — this drives labels and the game length), an optional competition level, and the default match minutes used as the projection basis for Game Demands. One team, one sport.
Speed thresholds
Defines what counts as high-speed running and sprinting, as a percentage of each athlete's own Maximal Sprint Speed (MSS) rather than a fixed km/h cut-off. There are two numbers: the HSR floor (default 60%) and the sprint floor (default 80%). High-speed running is the band between them (60–80% of MSS); sprinting is the sprint floor and above.
Because these drive every individualised metric and the concerns built on them, a wrong value skews the whole squad, and GPS vendor/device variance means the right value differs by club — so Settings only shows a read-only summary. Editing happens on Speed Thresholds (admins and coaches; linked from this card), which previews the effect of a candidate change against the last 28 days of real sessions — a squad-wide speed histogram, current-vs-proposed sprint/HSR distance, and a per-athlete flag for anyone still over a plausibility ceiling you set — before you save it. A change applies to newly imported sessions straight away; re-deriving historical sessions to the new bands is a separate step from the same page.
Phase tags
Admins and coaches can customise the periodisation tags used on gym templates — your names for off-season, pre-season, in-season and so on — so the labels match how your programme actually talks about blocks.
