Exercise library
The exercise library is your catalogue of movements. It feeds the template builder — every exercise you put in a session comes from here — and it's where you store cues, rationale and demo videos so prescriptions are unambiguous.
Who can use it: everyone can browse; admins and coaches create and edit custom exercises.
What's in it
Two kinds of exercise live side by side:
- Global — a shared, read-only library that ships with the platform.
- Custom — exercises your organisation created. These you can edit and archive.
You may also see exercises marked Shared — created by another team you coach; read-only here, editable in the team that owns them.
Finding and reading exercises
Filter by name search, scope (all / global / custom), movement pattern (push, pull, hinge, squat, …), level, and equipment. Each card shows the name, pattern, level and equipment tags, plus its scope and whether it's archived.
Open an exercise for the detail: coaching cues, the rationale for using it, a video link, and — for custom exercises — a list of substitutions (swaps an athlete can make when equipment or ability requires it).
Creating a custom exercise
Click Add custom exercise, give it a name, classify it (pattern, level, equipment), and add cues, rationale and a video URL. It's immediately available to the template builder. Edit or archive it any time from its detail page; archiving hides it from the default list without deleting history.
