The player app

The player app lives at /me and is built for your phone — you can add it to your home screen and use it like any other app. It shows your own training and match data, and lets you check in each day.

Who it's for: players. (Coaches and admins get a coach hub in the same app — see Coaching on mobile.)

Getting around

A bar across the bottom is your main navigation:

  • Home — your snapshot and the daily check-in.
  • Matches — your match history.
  • Training — your training history.
  • Gym — log and review gym work (see Logging gym work).
  • Jumps — jump testing (when your club uses it).

Some tabs only appear if your club has that feature switched on. Tap your initials top-right for Settings, Help & Docs, and Sign out. If you play for more than one club, a team switcher lets you flip between them.

Home

Home greets you and shows a quick snapshot: a sparkline of your recent sessions and a short list of your latest sessions (tap any for detail). If your max sprint speed has been measured, it's shown here too, along with a Speed Exposure strip telling you how long since your last top-speed effort ("your last top-speed was N days ago") with an 8-week dot strip of the sessions you hit it. And if your club uses wellness, the daily check-in card sits at the top.

Training and Matches

These are your history, newest first — training sessions on one tab, matches on the other. Each tab opens with a trends sparkline (distance, high-speed running and mechanical load across recent sessions) followed by the list. Tap a session to see its detail; tap a match to see how you compared. Upward trends mean you're doing more of that kind of work.

Daily wellness check-in

If your club uses wellness, you'll see a Daily check-in card on Home. Tap it and rate five things from 1 to 5, where 5 is always best:

  • Sleep (5 = slept great)
  • Soreness (5 = none)
  • Fatigue (5 = fully fresh)
  • Mood (5 = great)
  • Stress (5 = very calm)

Add a note if there's something your coach should know, and submit. It takes a few seconds. You can check in once a day and tap again to update it. Your honest answers help your coach manage your load and spot when you need a lighter day — they're not a test.

You can also flag a check-in as a niggle if something's bothering you — it puts it in front of your coach without marking you unavailable.

Settings

Under Settings you control push notifications for your device — turn them on to get alerts when work is assigned to you. Notification settings are per-device, so each phone you use is managed separately. You can also opt in to wellness reminders — pick the days and a time, and you'll be nudged to fill in your check-in.
