GPS data review
When GPS data comes in, Underdog tries to attach each recording to a session on your Schedule. Data Review is where anything it couldn't place waits for you — usually because no scheduled event covered that time window, or because something failed during import. A badge on the GPS nav entry tells you how many rows are waiting.
Who can use it: admins and coaches.
The queue
Each row is one athlete's data from one GPS recording, marked either needs review (no matching schedule entry) or failed (an error during import). The row carries a discovery summary — a preview of what was in the export: total distance, max speed, high-speed distance, sprint count, accelerations and decelerations, and heart-rate figures if recorded — so you can tell what the session was before you commit to anything.
Allocating a session
Select the rows that belong together and click Allocate. A panel opens where you describe the session once, for all the selected athletes:
- Window — date, start and end time, pre-filled from the selection.
- Kind — Training, Match or Adhoc (with an opponent field for matches).
- Title and notes (optional).
- Data fidelity:
- Full data — fetch and store the full timeseries. Slower, but it enables minute-level views and the richest analysis.
- Summary only — keep just the discovered aggregates. Fast, but no timeseries.
Click Create & allocate. Underdog creates one schedule event and files every selected athlete into it, showing per-row progress. If any row fails, you can retry just those.
Once allocated, the data behaves exactly like any other session — it appears in GPS sessions, feeds Load management, and counts toward Speed Progress.
Avoiding the queue
The best way to keep this queue empty is to keep the Schedule up to date. When a training or match exists on the schedule for the window the units were recording, the importer attaches the data automatically and nothing lands here.
