Gym plans
Gym plans are where assignments live — the calendar of which templates are prescribed to which athletes, and when. Assign a template to a squad and everyone in it inherits the plan; override individuals where needed.
Who can use it: admins and coaches.
You'll need at least one squad and one template before you can assign anything — set those up first in Squads and Session templates.
Viewing the plan
Switch between a calendar (month or week) and a list view, and filter by:
- Source — squad assignments (inherited by the whole group), per-athlete individual assignments, overrides (an athlete moved off the squad plan onto a different template), or all.
- Squad and template.

Creating and overriding
- Squad assignment — from a template, choose Assign → a squad → a date. Every member inherits it.
- Override — open a squad assignment, find an athlete, and swap their template. They keep the date but get different work — handy for a player coming back from injury who needs a modified session.
- Individual assignment — assign a template to a single athlete directly.
The source labels on each row tell you, at a glance, who's on the squad plan and who's on their own track.
Tracking it
What athletes actually do against these assignments flows into Gym sessions and, per squad, the engagement heatmap — completed, started, or missed.
